Welcome to my new Blog site, Everlasting-Gifts.com. Here I will tell you about my favorite things, websites, places to shop and much more. I hope you will come to see this blog as a great resource for your gift shopping and decorating.
I am a proud Texan and resident of a great planned city, called The Woodlands which is located just north of Houston. Right now I am mostly a stay at home mom but in my previous life I was a Buyer for Dillards Department Stores. I hope to return to that career in a few years once I have finished adding to my family. My husband is a project engineer for an oil company. We have twin daughters who are now 8 months old plus our 5 year old cocker.
During my tenure as a buyer I spent several years as a gift buyer and a few more years as a buyer in home furnishings. My favorite thing to do is shop. An ideal day in my life is to take a day trip to a resort area with lots of shops. There are several great shopping areas nearby. I will write about them and take you on a guided tour the next time I make a visit.
