Remember Mom for Mother’s Day
What are you doing for Mother’s Day 2008?
This is the first year I will not be able to be with my Mom on Mother’s Day so I am trying to plan a way to honor her from afar. It is going to be difficult to be in different towns but hopefully I will still make her feel loved and honored. I have been checking out unique Mother’s Day Gift Ideas. First instead of sending flowers I have found a great alternative, called gold roses. In reality these are real roses that are dipped in gold to preserve the rose forever. They also offer roses dipped in lacquer and trimmed in gold so that the original rose color can be seen. I am sending my mom an arrangement of three gold roses. I am sending my grandmother a white gold rose to honor her deceased mother. My husband is sending his mom a red gold rose to honor his mom.

I plan to call my mom on Mother’s Day. My brother is planning to take her dinner on Mother’s Day and my sister in law is surprising her by cleaning her house on Friday while she is at work. And Dad has promised to bring her breakfast in bed so hopefully she will feel loved and honor on her day!
